Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: a handle, a display name, a password (stored only as a salted hash), and — if you choose to add one — an email used solely as a login/recovery factor. We encourage aliases; we don't ask for your legal identity.
• Content you upload: your audio, optional cover art, and the metadata you enter (title, description, tags).
• Verification: the external handles you choose to prove, and the public profile text we fetch to confirm your one-time code.
• Minimal operational data: aggregate play counts and the technical logs our host keeps to deliver and secure the site.

What we try not to collect

We don't run third-party advertising or tracking, we don't sell data, and we avoid retaining per-listener histories. Analytics shown to creators are aggregated, not tied to identifiable listeners.

Cookies

We use a single, encrypted session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Hosting & processors

The service runs on Cloudflare (compute, database, and object storage). Your content and account data are processed there to deliver the site. We use as few processors as possible.

Your rights

You can access and export your content and account data, correct it, and delete your content or your whole account at any time. Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, you also have rights to erasure, restriction, and objection. To exercise any of these, use the in-app controls or email roleplayback@UnseenPerformances.com.

Retention

We keep your content and account data until you delete them. Deleting your account removes your profiles and audio from the service and purges them from storage, subject to short operational backup windows and any legal hold.

Children

RolePlayback is for adults and is safe-for-work only. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required by their local law.
